Project Trauma Support Mission Statement
To provide a destination and a program where military personnel and first responders who have had their lives ravaged by PTSD can convene in a safe community of their peers. Guided by a team of strong, centered and resilient leaders and immersed in a culture of caring, unconditional positive regard, they can process their experiences and authentic emotions. Through soul searching and experiential exercises they will have the opportunity to explore their stories with a new lens. In doing so, they will be able to shift their perceptions and their paradigms so they can continue to move forward in their lives, in peace.
Throughout the program they will forge new friendships and deep bonds with peers that will last into the future. Having achieved new attitudes and new ways of being, they will be motivated to continue in their healing by “paying it forward”, helping and giving hope to others.
